President

Sarah Fortune

I started calisthenics at the age of two and a half in Port Lincoln. It was inevitable as mum was a coach at the club and every lesson I would just join in. 10 years on and we moved to Adelaide where I continued my calisthenics journey at Reynella Breaview and there began my passion for coaching. I spent the next few years assisting mum and started choreographing her work, as soon as I was old enough I became a level 1 coach. I have taught every age group across most divisions in SA as well as state and development teams and been a mentor coach in Darwin and South Australia. I joined CalSAC in 2006 and have been a COM member, Vice President and now current President receiving my life membership in 2020. I am extremely passionate about our talented coaches here in SA and enjoy working behind the scenes coming up with new ways to improve and develop our seminars and conferences.

Vice President

Meagan Cox

Some might say calisthenics is my life, and they wouldn't be too far off! I began calisthenics at the age of 4, competing for over 30 years in various teams, clubs and divisions. I loved representing my state, sport, club, coach, team and myself over that time however, I have now hung up the lycra and officially retired from performing! I am currently the Principal Coach at Carisbrook Calisthenics Club, a small but mighty club in the centre of Salisbury, and the Assistant Coach of the senior team at Gawler Calisthenics Club. I have been coaching for just over 10 years now and have taught all age groups (except masters) over a variety of divisions with varying degrees of calisthenics experience. I also teach graceful girls, solos, duos and calisthenics skills. I love sharing what I have learnt with my girls and I encourage them to run their own race, to step outside their comfort zones and to be proud confident versions of themselves. I believe there is ALWAYS time for fun and I enjoy sharing many special moments with my teams. I joined CALSAC in 2019 and in 2020 became Vice President. I am passionate about this committee and the role we play - without our talented, creative and qualified coaches we have no sport.

Treasurer

Sally Hoskin

Sally started calisthenics in 1980, and has only recently stopped competing. She represented SA in several Ballarat teams in the 90’s. Once she was old enough she became a level 1 coach and since then has coached all age groups across different divisions. She started the Cherum calisthenics club in 2002 and remains their principal coach while also coaching currently at Innovation. Her daughter is also an enthusiastic Cali girl who has represented the state in both Darwin and National teams. Sally has worked in the CASA office for many years and joined CALSAC as treasurer several years ago.

Carly has had an almost lifelong involvement with calisthenics. She was a member of Brighton Calisthenics Club for most of her younger years, and competed in Junior National (1990), Intermediate National (1994) and Senior National (1995) teams. After taking a few years off to travel and have two children, Carly has returned to competitive calisthenics as a Marden Master. In her professional life, she is a qualified Graphic Designer and owns a marketing company with a focus on property. Carly's role with CALSAC is an opportunity to expand her love of calisthenics, with an interest in improving the way that the sport is marketed in South Australia. In her spare time, Carly can be found running her daughter around to calisthenics classes, talking about calisthenics and watching calisthenics!
