Level 1 Coach Course

The A.C.F. Level 1 Coaches Course is conducted each February by CAL.S.A.C. It is a 2 day practical/theory course covering the following topics:

  • Module 1 Effective Coaching
  • Module 2 Putting an Item Together
  • Module 3 Strength & Conditioning
  • Module 4 Dance in Calisthenics

All sessions must be attended in full for accreditation to proceed. 

Level 1 Coach Course

Criteria

The following prerequisites apply to all applicants:

  • Must be 18 years of age by the 31st December of the year of the course
  • Must have Cadet Coach accreditation – this includes Calisthenic Skills Grade 2 or higher and First Aid for Calisthenics certificate or other approved qualification
  • Must be a Full Member of CAL.S.A.C.
  • Must have supplied a current Working with Children Check
  • Must be able to accrue 40 hours of coaching with an accredited coach and then be monitored, both within 12 months of the theory course.

Code of Ethics

The Coach’s Code of Ethics Agreement Form must be completed for registration or re-registration to the National Coach Accreditation Scheme (NCAS). Download the form by clicking on the link below.
